98-02 LS1 EBC Red Stuff Brake Pads (Compound) – Front

These Redstuff 3000 series ceramic brake pads from EBC are made of a heavy-duty material for seriously fast road and track combination use. These are truly impressive, fast road pads for repeated heavy braking. They have good bite for highway driving, and have been pounded on race tracks during development. They emit far less dust than semimetallic pads, and feature EBC Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates pad bed-in. They are capable of withstanding limited track day usage.

    Nice pads. Work great with my steel brake lines, slotted and drilled rotors. Car stops faster, smoother, and much better pedal feel. Little noisey at lite stops but that’s the rotors more than the pads. Will definately buy another set of these when I need new pads.

    Pads work great and there is a noticeable difference between Autozone/Pepboys sold pads and these. Only downside is there is a bit more break dust than I would like. Stops are smoother, shorter, and generally quieter than with my old pads
