    Good kit. Pretty easy to install. Looks 1000 times better than the stock air box, which looks like garbage. You’ll want to have a dremel handy for cutting the bottom of the airbox out to accomidate the steel cold air peice. Obviously breathes a lot better. Also, if you are planning on removing the AIR system, do it at the same time and order the kit for the newer cars that does not have the AIR tube fitting on the side, otherwise you will have to seal that hole later on. Lesson learned.

    I put this product on my car a few weeks ago, and I love the performance increase it gave me. The only problem with it is that the air lid doesn’t stay latched very well. it slides forward too easily.

    I installed this on my 2002 Trans Am WS6 and was impressed by the immediate difference in HP I noticed. Some think that installing the cold air induction kit takes away from the Ram Air set up on the WS6, but don’t be fooled, you now have the best of both worlds and besides, the more air the better.

    The lid is great, but its a snug fit so many people have not liked how tight the latches are. I think the main cause is the smooth bellows… If you have troubles getting your lid to fit, trima small amoutn of the bllows back to allow the lid’s tabs to slide further back for bit and much easier install.
    Although one LS1tech.com member reffered to the smooth bellows as usefull as a dog chew toy. *L*

    Performance wise, this is a great product!! Pretty easy to install, the only problem is that the lid that is given doesnt want to fit over the bottom stock piece making the latches really tough to latch!! On my SS I didnt block the original air intake like it says, so Im running two ram airs!!! I can tell a huge difference, I mean its twice the air!!!! Good product I would recomend for starters!!!!

    Great product! Install was pretty easy, only hard part is cutting plastic for the cold air scoop. Works great though noticeable power gains, car definitely pulls harder now! I strongly reccomend this kit! Thanks ws6 store!

    I installed this bad boy in my 2002 Z and saw a great increase in the throdle. The one thing that was tricky was cutting the hard plastic part that goes behind the radiator without breaking it and after about 20 beers was a challenge but once everything was in you can feel your ride breath a whole lot better. It’s well worth the money!

    I installed this kit on my 01 SS, and saw great power, throttle response, and gas mileage gains for a little while. The problem with this kit is that extra ram air that grabs air from in front of the radiator picks up so much dirt from the road. After about 3000 miles your filter will be so clogged that all your gains turn into losses. The lid also rubs on my hood. If I were to do it all over again I wouldn’t have bought this kit.

    It’s a good product. I was debating getting this product or the K&N induction kit and chose this one. I instantly saw better throttle response and more power. The biggest problem with this kit is it can be somewhat a pain in the you know.. to install it. Everything is a tight fit but it makes for a good seal and air flow. Over all i’m very happy and it was worth the few aggravating moments.
